Payment Analyst
Remote · Full-time · B2C Adult Entertainment Product
We are a product team developing B2C solutions in the adult online entertainment industry. Currently, we are building an internal product — a streaming platform similar to Netflix or Amazon Prime.
Due to active growth, we are looking for a Payment Analyst with a background in risk analysis to join our team and take ownership of analytics related to both product and financial performance.
📍 Responsibilities
- Product & Payment Analytics
- Analyze product and financial data;
- Build, automate, and interpret reports on key payment metrics (e.g., Success Rate, Churn Rate, Chargeback Rate, Refund Rate), and more complex indicators;
- Standardize and structure payment solutions, developing strategies for each integrated provider;
- Manage routing of payment traffic;
- Analyze user behavior in the payment funnel, identify bottlenecks and drop-offs;
- Use data to justify decisions regarding billing models, PSPs, subscriptions, and cross-sell/offers;
- Make data-driven decisions to maximize revenue per paying user.
- Risk, Fraud & Anti-fraud System Development
- Monitor, identify, and investigate suspicious activity (fraud patterns, attacks, repeated attempts, bypassing limits);
- Develop and fine-tune anti-fraud rules (velocity, behavior patterns, device/IP scoring, blacklists/whitelists);
- Initiate and implement anti-fraud tools (in-house or external platforms like Ethoca, RDR, Kount);
- Create a risk management policy and framework: define fraud, set up handling/blocking/disputing protocols;
- Prepare reports on risks, fraud, and losses; analyze chargebacks and suggest solutions to reduce them;
- Collaborate with support, product, and dev teams to handle incidents and implement improvements;
- Monitor fraud trends and threats, regularly update anti-fraud logic;
- Manage transaction disputes (TC40/TC15), prepare and submit evidence packages.
Our ideal candidate:
- Experience with payment analytics and key financial metrics (ARPU, LTV, Chargeback Rate, etc.);
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets (Python is a plus);
- Experience analyzing payment funnels and user behavior;
- Understanding of anti-fraud tools and risk management (hands-on experience is a big plus);
- Strong data-driven decision-making skills;
- Experience with external anti-fraud platforms (Ethoca, Verify, etc.);
- Experience working closely with product and engineering teams;
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
